About Reijaards

My name is Sherah Draaijer, and I have been working as a luthier for over 20 years. After gaining experience with several companies, I founded my own workshop, Guitarworks Delft, in 2014.

At Guitarworks Delft, I specialize in guitar repairs and custom guitar building under my own brand, Reijaards Guitars — including hand-wound pickups.

The name Reijaards is a playful reversal of my own: S. Draaijer. It reflects the personal craftsmanship and dedication that I bring to every instrument.

My passion for traditional craftsmanship and beautiful wood runs deep. In fact, it’s hard for me to look at a wooden table without seeing a potential project. Every guitar I build carries this love for detail, tone, and artistry — creating instruments that not only sound exceptional but are built to inspire.

In recent years, the popularity of Reijaards guitars has grown significantly, and today musicians around the world are playing instruments crafted in our Delft workshop.

I’m proud to see how these guitars have found their way into the hands of passionate players everywhere.
